  The health status of the members of this cohort studied is followed up through the National Health Service Central Registers for cancer and death registration data. No other follow-up is carried out.

Comments
  The health status of the members of this cohort studied is followed up through the National Health Service Central Registers for cancer and death registration data. Data are received on an annual basis.
Participants returning for a second or further statutory medical examination are invited to complete the study questionnaire again. If they consent, then their study information will be updated. If they only attend one medical, then we will only have study information from one time point.
No other follow-up is carried out.
