Inclusion criteria
  All patients hospitalized due to first myocardial infarction at the Cardiac Clinics, Medical University of Łódź during the period of 12 months who accepted invitation to participate in the study
Exclusion criteria
  poor condition of health, refuse to participate

  Follow up study was performed only in people who were working till the first myocardial infarction (306 persons, 255 men and 51 women). It was analyzed differences between group who return to work (18 women-15,7%, 97 men - 84,3%) and who didn't return (7 women 20,0%, 28 men - 15,7% )
